What it is
The aim of a postural assessment is to identify postural imbalances, muscle shortening and changes in the muscle chains that may contribute to pain and to limitations in everyday function.
How it works
The assessment is not limited to where it hurts: it looks at the body as a whole, analysing how posture, joint mobility, breathing and muscle tension relate to each other. At the end we explain what we found and how to proceed.
Sessions are one-to-one and last about an hour. Their number and frequency depend on each case and are agreed together after the first assessment.
