What it is
Global Postural Reeducation (RPG) is a physiotherapy method developed by Philippe Souchard. It starts from a simple idea: muscles work together, linked in chains. So treatment does not stop at the point where you feel pain, but looks at posture as a whole.
How it works
After an initial assessment, each session is built on active postures held over time, performed together with the physiotherapist, who guides breathing and corrections. It is a gradual approach, tailored to the person.
When it may help
It is used above all for spine problems such as low back pain, neck pain and scoliosis. Whether it is suitable is assessed case by case.
Sessions are one-to-one and last about an hour. Their number and frequency depend on each case and are agreed together after the first assessment.
