What it is
The knee carries the body’s weight at every step and is often involved in injuries and overuse. Common problems include patellofemoral pain syndrome, meniscus injuries, sprains, tendinopathies and bursitis.
How we work
After the assessment, treatment includes therapeutic exercise for strength and stability, manual therapy and, where useful, taping or functional bandaging. The knee is assessed together with the hip and foot, which affect how it is loaded.
Sessions are one-to-one and last about an hour. Their number and frequency depend on each case and are agreed together after the first assessment.
